Good morning! You may notice that the HTML5 version of Fiscal Jesters is up to v0.3.4 - no changes to report, I was just testing something. Seems like HaxeFlixel has some issues with saving in the HTML5 version - namely, if you upload a new version, itch.io assigns it a new path, which erases the save, something I'm sure that some of you have noticed. Sorry about that, by the way.

The bad news is, my experimentation this morning was fruitless; even uploading via itch.io's Butler tool, the HTML5 version doesn't retain gamesaves across versions. The good news is, I learned how to use itch.io's Butler tool, which should make future updates easier for me AND you!

I, along with some others from the Haxe Discord server, am researching this issue, but in the meantime, if you wish to save your progress, we highly recommend one of the downloadable versions of the game (the text looks better in them, anyway). However, the only unlocks at the moment are the palettes, and you can automatically unlock all of those via the settings menu. It's not a perfect solution, but it's the most perfect one we have so far.
